Executive Board 2019-2020

Christine Nguyen, P2
President (2019-2020)
1st Year Class Liaison (2018-2019)

Hi! My name is Christine Nguyen. I joined SCCP during my first semester at UOP because as a transfer student from UCI, I wanted to learn more about what the field of clinical pharmacy has to offer. As a 1st Year Class Liaison, I had opportunities to plan events that allowed me to network with clinical pharmacists. These events, in return, solidified my interests in clinical pharmacy and showed me the career opportunities available within this profession. In my free time, I enjoy practicing modern calligraphy, watching House M.D., and actively Yelping!

Liann Hoang, P2
VP of Professional Affairs (2019-2020)
1st Year Class Liaison (2018-2019)

Hi! My name is Liann Hoang. I completed my undergraduate career at UC Davis prior to attending pharmacy school. I joined SCCP with the intention of wanting to learn more about clinical pharmacy.  Shortly after joining, I accepted the position as a 1st year SCCP liaison which allowed me to work with the executive board to plan events for the student body that promoted clinical pharmacy, residencies, fellowships, and research.  From these events, I was able to network with a wide range of clinical pharmacists from various fields which allowed me to learn more about what their professions had to offer. During my free time I enjoy baking and running fun marathons!

Regine Audije, P2
VP of Membership (2019-2020)
1st Year Class Liaison (2018-2019)

Hi everyone! My name is Regine Audije. I was a transfer from the University of San Francisco and when I started as a P1 I didn’t really know which field of pharmacy I wanted to go into. I joined SCCP because I wanted to explore careers in clinical pharmacy and I am thinking about pursuing a residency in the future. I was one of the three 1st year class liaisons so I was able to gain some insight on what I wanted to do while planning events with the previous executive board. In my spare time, I enjoy going to the beach and binge watching shows!

Katie Kawashiri, P2
VP of Fundraising (2019-2020)

Hi! My name is Katie Kawashiri. I was a Pre-Pharmacy student at the undergraduate side of University of the Pacific. I joined SCCP because I wanted to learn more about the field of clinical pharmacy, and I also wanted to give more opportunities to students who are also interested in clinical pharmacy. By being in SCCP, I had the opportunities to network with pharmacists and plan events.  In my free time, I enjoy going to musicals and doing arts and crafts!

Ramneet Chhina, P2
Treasurer (2019-2020)

Hi everyone! My name is Ramneet Chhina. Before coming to UOP, I went to UC Davis where I received a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences. I wanted to be a part of SCCP because I had always been interested in the field of clinical pharmacy and thought that being a part of this organization would provide me with the opportunities to gain more insight and experience with clinical pharmacy. When I am not too busy with school, I love to travel and  cook.

Amarita Singh, P2
Secretary (2019-2020)

Hello! My name is Amarita Singh. I attended UC Davis as an undergraduate and completed by bachelor’s degree in Cell Biology. I joined SCCP because I wanted to expand my knowledge on the field of clinical pharmacy. This field of pharmacy allows you to have direct communication with other health care professionals, which is something I can see myself doing in the future! During my free time, I like to be outdoors or spending time with friends and family!

Philip Lee, P2
Historian/Webmaster (2019-2020)

Hello everyone, my name is Philip. I went to UC Irvine for my undergrad before starting pharmacy school. I joined SCCP to learn more about the different fields of clinical pharmacy and what opportunities it presented. I am interested in pursuing a residency but did not want to limit myself to just hospital pharmacy. Joining SCCP has given me a broad understanding of how clinical pharmacy is expanding in all practices and has introduced me to different career opportunities. During my free time, I like to maintain my home aquarium.
