Cindy Vang, P1
President (2026-2027)
Hello everyone!
My name is Cindy Vang and I am the President of SCCP for the 2026 to 2027 term. I completed my undergraduate studies at California State University of Sacramento with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences. In 2020, I worked as a pharmacy technician in a retail pharmacy and then moved to an inpatient setting. Over time, I began to learn clinical pearls from pharmacists I worked with and found myself wanting to learn more, which encouraged me to apply for pharmacy school. After a challenging but rewarding first trimester as a P1, I decided to join SCCP so I can share perspectives of pharmacists I worked with by having them as guest speakers in hopes that it will help my fellow classmates succeed. I hope to expand my own knowledge while uplifting those around me by creating opportunities for all pharmacy students.

Sabrina Vong, P1
Vice President of Professional Affairs (2026-2027)
Hi everyone!
My name is Sabrina Vong and I am the Vice President of Professional Affairs for SCCP-Pacific this year! I did my undergrad here at UOP and I recently graduated with my Bachelors in Science! I’ve always been interested in pursuing a residency as well as clinical pharmacy, which is why I ultimately decided to join SCCP-Pacific. As Vice President of Professional Affairs, my goal is to bring as many events to the student body as possible so we can get more exposure to the different fields of pharmacy, as well as build upon my own professional skills and make new connections. I am very excited to be working with my board so that we can continue to build upon the amazing work SCCP has brought to our school!

Karlie Makhoul, P1
Vice President of Membership (2026-2027)
Hello,
My name is Karlie Makhoul, and I am the Vice President of Membership for SCCP-Pacific. I completed my undergraduate studies as a pre-pharmacy student here at the University of the Pacific on the 2+3 accelerated track. When I began pharmacy school, I had a strong curiosity for clinical pharmacy and residency options, and when I learned of SCCP and their drive to support students with the same questions as me, I did not hesitate to join. Not only did this organization begin to answer my inquiries, it also assisted in showing me the several pathways a clinical pharmacist can follow, along with what those careers would look like in the future. As the Vice President of Membership, I hope to encourage students to join this organization with a purpose and leave with knowledge that will stay with them well beyond their years in pharmacy school. I hope to use my organizational skills to maintain attendance and membership records, and use my communication and social nature to promote the organization to new students.

Vincent Xiong, P1
Secretary (2026-2027)
Hello everyone,
My name is Vincent Xiong, and I am the SCCP-Pacific’s 2026–2027 Secretary. I graduated from Sacramento State University, where I earned my bachelor’s degree in Health Science.
Over the past few years, I have worked as a pharmacy technician in various organizations in inpatient and outpatient settings. My work experiences as a pharmacy technician have strengthened my knowledge of pharmacy and provided me with insight into its various practice settings through hands-on experience. These experiences have helped shape my goal of becoming a pharmacist in a clinical setting, where I can work directly with patients and collaborate with a healthcare team to improve patient care outcomes. I joined SCCP to continue growing beyond my work experiences, build my clinical knowledge, and expand my professional network within clinical pharmacy. As Secretary, I hope to increase engagement within SCCP and contribute to creating more opportunities for members to explore different career paths in clinical pharmacy and grow professionally.
